August 09 The 'Evolutionary Principle"Some interesting reading of "Something Hidden" by Louisa E. Rhine has me delving into areas I have left alone for quite awhile. I either had no-one to argue the point with or not have the audience to make any point, so in reading I discovered just points of their own.
The 'evolution theory' is about evolving from and forming into something else--well darwin might have been onto something for some of the creatures on this mudball planet but think about this as I have been thinking about this. "I did not descend from monkeys or apes, but rather I came up from the depths of the ocean aquatic atmosphere I was used to, found my sedentary feet, shed my fins and other now unnecessary aquatic equipment, planted those feet firmly into soft sand, and assumed the long trek ahead of me as a 'victim of the human race' . . . and I am still running. Doesn't it feel good to be alive !
Now as I assumed the mammalian life-support system I no longer needed the aquatic stuff, I found I evolved but could still digress if i wanted to do something like swim, snorkel, scuba dive, skinny-dip you know 'get back into the wave and ride it' ! But seriously, in accepting the evolution theory this part baffles me-- Why the human embryo is STILL posessing a tail at conception and keeping this till death ? if we are never to return to the watery environment, or are we ?
OKAY so what does the "evolutionary principle" really mean to you ?(for the sake of science I do ask that we ask the evolution question of ourselves to ourselves and NOT LOOK to the biblical god of creation but simply keeping the sake of science empirical and intellectually granted)
